"Lost" is a short animation film I made as a final year project during 2017. This animation was premiered to public on May 2017 during Matrix Show 2017, an event held by final year students of Bachelor of Art Visual Technology, FKSW, University Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

 

The animation is my submission which also became one of shortlisted nomination for Asean Youth Indie Film Festival 2018 (AYIFF2018).

This short animation film is about encounterment between a beast of a forest, Mondou, and a young human girl, Tosuwou. It is all began when Mondou heard a strange noise while he was strolling in the deep forest under The Mount of Kinabalu.
 

The story is based on the belief of the local people of Ranau, (Sabah, Malaysia) on Koduo-duo (spirit) that suppose to rest on

The Gayo Ngaran (The Mount of Kinabalu), with a hint of local mystical being called Mondou.
